Building for the future…
East End Cooperative Ministry has been serving our community with the resources available to us – and doing it well – for four decades. We operate 15 different on-going formal programs out of 14 different locations where facilities have been made available to us in as-is condition at modest cost. Most are stretched/filled well beyond their capacity. Few sites allow for efficient operations. None offer potential for program integration, development, or growth. Our programs have evolved within the confines of those facilities. The future of EECM and the good it does depends critically on remedying those limitations.
It is time to look to the future: to a living mission that is grounded in principle and purpose yet always evolving to meet changing community needs, and to facilities that will serve that kind of mission for the next forty years.
