Friends of EECM are dedicated individuals who make monthly gifts to EECM by having a donation automatically deducted from their checking account each month.

Your Gift Makes a Difference

A monthly gift of….

$10 — will provide ten continental breakfasts at the Men's Emergency Shelter each month.

$25 — will provide one week of home-delivered meals to a homebound individual each month.

$50 — will provide one week of after-school programs for an elementary school student each month.

$75 — will provide five hours of personalized tutoring to a student each month.

$100 — will provide one medical clinic, plus food and activities for waiting clients, at EECM's homeless Drop-In Center each month.

$250 — will provide groceries and household supplies to six families each month.

It's Easy to Become a Friend!

Signing up for the Friends of EECM program is simple.  Simply download the Registration Form and mail it in — along with your canceled check — to the address listed on the form.  On the form, you'll tell us the amount of your monthly gift, which program you would like it to support, and when you would like us to make the monthly deduction. 

That's it! 

Then, each month, we will deduct the amount you specify from your checking account and put it straight to work in our programs.

How “Friends” Helps You

It's Easy.

Giving monthly through direct debit is easy. You provide us with a voided check and the amount of your monthly gift. Then, each month, that amount will be deducted from your account and directed toward the EECM program of your choice. You don’t have to remember to write a check, find an envelope, or buy stamps!

We are committed to maintaining the privacy and security of your financial information. EECM’s direct debit program is managed by Fifth Third Bank using encrypted online transfers and is protected by a VeriSign digital certificate.

It's Effective.

By giving monthly via direct debit, 100% of your gift will go directly to work in the program of your choice (Hunger, Housing, Children & Youth, or General Support).

It's Exclusive.

Friends of EECM will be recognized in EECM’s Annual Report and will receive our bi-annual Extra Impact publication which highlights the impact your gifts have on the community.

Receiving monthly donations via direct debit saves postage, paper, and staff time. It also avoids credit card processing fees, enabling us to put the full amount of your donation to work in our programs.

Direct debit monthly donations can be relied upon to arrive at the same time each month. Their delivery is not impacted by poor weather, postal holidays or delays, family vacations, or life’s hectic pace.
